Great News!!

Our class was delighted to learn today that we have been selected in the Trinity College  'Bookmarks' programme. As part of this exciting project we will all be writing and illustrating our own books and will get to work with a professional writer and illustrator . The best part of the project though is the fact that our books will be on display in the world famous long room library at Trinity College where thousands of people visit every day . Science Workshop at Dun Laoghaire Library

In November our class was lucky enough to be invited to an exciting science workshop in the new Dun laoghaire library. We learned all about 'makey makey' boards which are a really cool way of connecting electrical circuits. We used our makey makey boards to make a piano out of fruits and a game controller out of play dough. The two teachers were phd students from Trinity college and they were both really smart!
